The AI-Native Product Builder Programme.

Go from idea to a paying product in 8 weeks. Your one-person AI company starts here.

This isn’t about landing a job - it’s about building your own thing. Across 8 mentor-reviewed missions you use AI to do every job a software business needs (build, ship, sell, operate) and walk out owning a product, not a CV. Real deadlines, a squad shipping next to you, and a guarantee.

The problem we solve

Knowledge is free now. Claude will teach you anything. So why have you shipped nothing?

Because three things matter more than knowledge - and you can’t get them from a chatbot. We don’t sell content. We sell the forcing function: deadlines, human review of your actual product, peers shipping next to you, and a guarantee.

A finish line

Most aspiring builders are stuck in permanent research mode - watching tutorials, collecting tools, shipping nothing.

Past the vibe-coding wall

Those who do build with AI hit a wall at week 3–4: it breaks, they can’t describe the problem, they can’t fix it, they quit.

The last mile

Real users, real payments, real launch. Building is now the easy 60%. Validation, distribution, and charging money are the hard 40% - and AI won’t do those for you.

03

Who this is for

Made for independent builders
not seat-warmers.

The AI-Native Product Builder Programme is for you if:

  • You’re employed and non-technical, but you want income and leverage outside your job
  • You’ve consumed AI content for months and shipped nothing - you want a finish line
  • You want to build your own product or tool, not work on someone else’s
  • You’re a freelancer or agency owner who wants to build products instead of selling hours
  • You run a small business and want internal tools or a product line without hiring developers
  • You can commit ~10–15 hours a week for 8 weeks to actually ship
04

Who this is NOT for

We'd rather you skip this
than be the wrong fit. Completion is the product.

If any of the below describe you, take a different path - we'll point you to the right one. Wrong-fit buyers don't finish, and finishing is the whole point.

You want a developer job.

This won’t get you hired. Take the AI-Native Software Development Programme instead - it’s built for serious career switchers.

You just want to learn casually, at your own pace.

No deadlines, no reviews, no squad? That’s Sigmo - self-serve, gamified, RM89–99/month. This programme is the forcing function.

You’re a funded startup founder.

If you need production-grade engineering and a team, this isn’t it. This is for one person taking an idea to a first paying product.

You want passive income with no effort.

AI tools amplify what you do. They don’t replace doing. Every checkpoint is real work.

You can't commit ~10–15 hours a week for 8 weeks.

The deadlines are the product. If you can’t show up to the missions, the guarantee can’t work for you.

You’re looking for someone to hand you the idea.

We teach you to find and validate your own. Anyone selling you the idea is selling you their leftovers.

05

The end goal

By Demo Day,
you'll walk out with all of this.

Not a certificate. Not a portfolio of toy projects. A real product, a real user, and the literacy to keep going.

A deployed product at a real URL

Built by you with Claude Code. Live on the internet, not a folder on your laptop.

At least one real user

Not a friend doing you a favour - a real person with the problem, with usage evidence to prove it.

A payment system, live

First ringgit collected, or documented pre-orders. The product can actually take money.

Code literacy

Navigate your codebase, read errors, review diffs, revert mistakes, and supervise AI on your own product.

A repeatable process

You can do this again for product #2 without us. The spine - validate, ship, user, charge - is yours.

A Demo Day defence

You present it live: what you built, the numbers, the hardest bug. Recorded for your public showcase.

06

The curriculum

8 missions. One shipped product.
~8 weeks, ~10–15 hrs/week.

Every mission is a goal. The checkpoints are the proof - a deployed URL, a real user, a payment - never a quiz, never “watched the video.” Open any mission to see what you ship.

Mission 0

Get Set Up

A working build environment and your first deployed page on the internet.

  • Terminal opened and basic navigation done (cd, ls, mkdir)
  • Git installed, GitHub account created, first commit pushed
  • Node installed; npx sigma-doctor passes all checks
  • Claude Code installed, authenticated, first session run
  • Vercel account connected to GitHub
  • “Hello, I’m building ___” page deployed to a live URL

Submit: Live URL + screenshot of sigma-doctor passing.

Mission 1

Pick a Real Problem

One validated problem, one ruthlessly scoped v1 spec.

  • List 10 problems from your own work or life
  • Score them: who has it, would they pay, can v1 be ONE core action
  • Write a one-page spec: user, problem, the single core action, what’s OUT
  • Validation evidence: 5 real conversations, or a landing page with sign-ups
  • Mentor sign-off on scope (kills the #1 failure mode: overscoping)

Submit: Spec + validation evidence + 3-min Loom.

Mission 2

Build v1

The core action works end-to-end, live on the internet.

  • Project scaffolded with Claude Code from your spec
  • Codebase tour: explain what each top-level folder/file does
  • Supabase set up: database + auth working
  • The ONE core action works end-to-end
  • Git habit: small commits with messages, at least daily
  • Diff discipline: ask Claude to explain what it changed and why
  • Deployed to your real URL

Submit: Live app + repo + 5-min Loom (demo it, then explain one file Claude wrote).

Mission 3

Make It Real

It can take money, you can see usage, and it doesn’t fall over.

  • Payments integrated (Stripe, or toyyibPay / Billplz / senangPay) - test transaction done
  • Basic analytics installed: page views + core-action event tracked
  • Error states handled: what does a user see when something fails?
  • Mobile check: core action works on a phone
  • Security pass: no keys in client code, checklist completed

Submit: Test payment proof + analytics screenshot + Loom (incl. explain-one-file).

Mission 4

First Real Users

3 real humans used it. You watched one of them.

  • Onboard 3 real users from your target audience
  • Watch one user live - no helping, just watching
  • Structured feedback collected from all 3
  • Usage evidence: analytics showing real sessions

Submit: Usage evidence + feedback notes + Loom (what surprised you).

Mission 5

Iterate and Debug

Fix what users broke. Earn your debugging stripes on your own product.

  • Triage feedback: fix now / later / ignore (with reasons)
  • Top 3 issues fixed and redeployed
  • One real bug debugged with Claude: symptom → trace → hypothesis → fix → verify
  • Revert drill: intentionally break something, restore it with git
  • Regression habit: after each fix, “what else could this have changed?”

Submit: Before/after + the bug-story Loom (the code-literacy capstone).

Mission 6

First Ringgit

Someone pays. Or commits to paying.

  • Price decided, with a one-page rationale
  • Payment flow live in production
  • The Ask: 10 real asks made (DMs, calls, in person) and logged
  • 1 real payment collected, OR 3 documented pre-orders / commitments
  • Objections logged: every “no” and the reason

Submit: Payment / pre-order proof + ask log + Loom.

Mission 7

Launch

The product exists in public. Strangers have seen it.

  • Landing page sharpened: one user, one problem, one action, one price
  • Launch post written (problem → built it → here it is)
  • Posted publicly on 2+ channels (LinkedIn / TikTok / X / communities)
  • 100+ unique visitors driven
  • AI SEO/GEO basics applied so LLMs and Google can cite you

Submit: Live post links + traffic screenshot + Loom.

Mission 8

Demo Day & the Next 30 Days

Defend what you built. Leave with a plan you’ll actually run.

  • Demo presented live to the squad (5-min demo + 5-min Q&A)
  • Metrics recap: users, sessions, revenue / commitments
  • 30-day plan: one growth goal, one product goal, one weekly ritual
  • Capability self-assessment against the code-literacy checklist

Submit: Live demo + written 30-day plan. This is graduation and the guarantee checkpoint.

The assessment that survives AI: every mission ends with a Loom walkthrough - demo your live product, then open one file and explain what it does. You can’t fake understanding on camera. That’s the line past the vibe-coding wall.

Real outcomes

Coming with the beta cohort.
Real builds. Real revenue. Real names.

We're running a free beta with 20–30 founding students before public launch. This section will fill with their real shipped products, real numbers, and real testimonials - no stock photos, no generic quotes. Waitlist members get first crack at the beta seats.

Want to be in the first cohort?

Join the waitlist and tell us what you want to build. The first 30 seats are free in exchange for a public case study.

10

How it works

Mid-touch, not self-serve.
The moat is review, deadlines, squad, and the guarantee.

Claude will teach you anything for free. What it can’t give you is a finish line and someone reviewing your actual product. That’s what this is.

Monthly squads

Rolling enrollment, batched into monthly squads so you always have peers shipping at the same stage as you.

Weekly live Build Review

60–90 min: a mentor reviews 3–4 real projects live. Everyone learns from every review, not just their own.

Async review in ≤48h

Submit a mission, get human review back within two days, with a clean resubmission flow when changes are needed.

Squad Discord + Unblock slots

Your squad channel is always on. Stuck? Morning Unblock slots get you past the wall fast.

Monthly Tool Teardown

One current tool applied live to a member’s real project. Disposable by design - tools rot, the spine doesn’t.

Green / Yellow / Red status

Yellow (late or thin) gets a mentor nudge that week. Red (two missions stalled) gets a real conversation about pace and fit.

The Ship Guarantee

Do the work and ship - or your money back.

Complete every mission checkpoint and ship. If you do all of it and still don't end with a live product and at least one real user, we refund you in full.

The risk reversal is conditional on doing the work - because the work is the whole point. Every checkpoint is logged in Sigmo, so the guarantee is settled by data, not arguments.

Where this sits

Three ways to learn with us.
Pick the one that matches your goal.

If you want a job, that’s the Software Development Programme. If you just want to learn casually, that’s Sigmo. This one is for shipping your own product.

About Sigmaschool

A school, not a guru.

Sigmaschool is a Malaysian coding academy that has trained thousands of students since 2021. We've placed graduates at companies across MY, SG, and AU, and helped solo builders earn from their own work.

We started the AI-Native Product Builder Programme because the entry-level dev job market is shrinking, but the opportunity to build and ship your own software with AI has never been more real. We believe the future belongs to independent builders.

We are not a guru-led brand. There is no charismatic founder selling you their lifestyle. This is a school, run institutionally, with curriculum built by practitioners for practitioners.

FAQ

Honest answers
to the real questions.

I've never written a line of code. Will this actually work for me?

Yes - that’s exactly who it’s for. Mission 0 gets you set up step by step (with a doctor script, copy-paste checklists, and a live setup session), and you supervise AI rather than write everything from scratch. The bar is code literacy: you can read, review, and direct - not author from memory.

How long does it actually take?

8 missions over roughly 8 weeks, at about 10–15 hours a week. Enrollment is rolling, batched into monthly squads so you always have peers shipping at the same stage.

What exactly do I walk out with?

A deployed product at a real URL, at least one real user with usage evidence, a live payment system (first ringgit or pre-orders), the literacy to supervise your own codebase, and a repeatable process you can run again for product #2.

Is this going to get me a job?

No - and if that’s your goal, take the AI-Native Software Development Programme instead. This is for building your own product, not landing a developer role.

What if I get stuck?

Your squad Discord is always on, you get morning Unblock slots when blocked, async mission review comes back within 48 hours, and there’s a weekly live Build Review. Green / Yellow / Red status means a mentor reaches out the moment you stall.

How does the Ship Guarantee work?

Complete every mission checkpoint and ship. If you do all of it and still don’t end with a live product and a real user, we refund you in full. Every checkpoint is logged in Sigmo, so it’s settled by data, not arguments.

Won’t the tools be outdated in a few months?

The spine - validate, ship, get a user, charge - will be true in five years. Specific tools live in the monthly live Tool Teardowns and an elective library, never baked into the core missions, precisely because tool content rots fast.

How much is it, and are there payment plans?

RM 4,997 at launch - RM 3,000 off the RM 7,997 regular price, for the first 100 buyers. Payment plan options will be shared when doors open - join the waitlist to hear first.
