The problem
AI is no longer limited to answering questions. It can research, work with your files, run tasks on a schedule, and build software. Most people never get past the chat window.
How most people use AI
What you'll be able to do
The gap isn't which AI you pay for. It's whether you know how to hand it real work and check what comes back.
The approach
AI products are converging - chat, cowork, agents, coding and automation blur into each other every few months. So we teach the capability first, then show how the leading platforms deliver it.
“I need a report prepared once.”
→ Cowork
“I need a task completed across websites.”
→ AI agent
“I want a task repeated every week.”
→ Scheduled agent or automation
“I need the exact same steps every time.”
→ Traditional automation
“I want a tool built around my problem.”
→ AI coding
“I want more control over how my agent runs.”
→ Self-hosted agent
Produce work. Repeat work. Build tools. Verify results.
Products will change. These four capabilities won't - and they're what you'll leave with.
How it works
Every week you unlock a new way of working with AI, complete one guided project, then build your own version for something you actually care about.
Week 1
Get AI to do a task
Week 2
Give AI a job it repeats
Week 3
Build your own tools
Week 4
Make those tools reliable

85% of your time is hands-on. You see many tools, but you spend most of the week building.
4-week curriculum
Four missions. One story arc. By Mission 4 you're not just using AI - you're building with it and proving it works.
Mission 1 · Week 1 · Cowork
“Stop asking AI fifty small questions. Hand it a complete task - research, spreadsheets, reports, slides - and get finished work back.”
Tools you'll explore
You will leave knowing how to:
By the end of mission 1
A reusable AI workspace that turns your inputs into professional deliverables - again and again.
Guided project
AI Job Hunter
Upload a CV. AI researches real openings, builds a spreadsheet with sources, finds skill gaps, and drafts a tailored CV, cover letter and interview guide.
Then build your own, e.g.
Mission 1 · Cowork
“Here's something I need finished.”
Here is my CV. Research five suitable jobs, compare their requirements, and prepare three tailored applications for me.
You give it a piece of work. It completes the work.
Mission 2 · AI Agents
“This is now your ongoing responsibility.”
Every Monday, research new marketing jobs paying above RM 6,000, compare them with my experience, update my job tracker, and send me the best opportunities.
You give it a job to keep doing. You review and manage the results.
The AI Tool Map
Every student gets a living AI Tool Map inside Sigmo - what each tool is, what it can do, when to use it, and what else does something similar. Updated monthly as the products move.

How deep we go with each tool
LEVEL 1
A 2–3 minute overview and an example, so you recognise it when someone mentions it.
LEVEL 2
A short comparison with the alternatives, so you can pick the simplest tool that fits.
LEVEL 3
A full guided project and personal mission. Only a few core tools reach this level.
Real projects
Four guided projects teach the skill. Four personal missions apply it to your own career or business. You finish with one working AI solution you can show anyone.

Mission 1 · Guided project
Researches openings, logs them in a spreadsheet with sources, compares requirements to your CV, and drafts a tailored CV, cover letter and interview guide - without inventing qualifications.
Mission 2 · Guided project
A reusable AI worker that finds potential customers from approved public sources, reviews their websites against a checklist and prepares personalised pitches for your approval.
Mission 3 · Guided project
A shareable web app that runs practice interviews from a job description, asks follow-ups, scores your answers and builds a practice plan. Voice interviews optional.
Tell me about a campaign that didn't go to plan. What did you change?
Our Q3 launch underperformed, so I re-split the budget towards…
Mission 4 · Guided project
A stock simulator with historical data and RM 10,000 of pretend money - and planted bugs. You test it, find the errors, fix them with AI and write the testing report.
Your final mission
Test, fix & ship your own AI solution.
Pick one thing you built - your AI worker, your app, or a combination - and turn it into a finished, tested solution for a problem you care about. With a test report, a case study and a recorded demo to prove it.
How you're assessed
Every mission is reviewed by an instructor against clear checkpoints. A generic prompt or a one-off AI answer doesn't pass - a solution someone else can use does.
A workspace, agent or app that actually does the job.
Results from different inputs or task runs, not one lucky output.
Realistic test cases, before-and-after results, fixes made.
What you verified, and where AI needs your approval.
A 5–7 minute demo explaining how it works.
For your final mission: the problem, the solution, the limits.

What graduating means
01
Provide documents, context and goals - and get back useful, professional deliverables.
02
Set up agents with tools, skills and routines, and supervise them properly.
03
Direct AI to create a working application without writing code yourself.
04
Test, debug and improve what you’ve built before anyone relies on it.
05
Understand the major categories and alternatives, and move between products.
06
Graduate with a working solution to a problem you actually care about.

FAQ
No. You'll build websites, apps and AI workers by directing AI in plain English. You'll learn the basic parts of an application so you can describe what you want and check whether it works, but you never have to write code or operate a terminal to pass.
The first cohort starts on 1 February 2027 and runs for four weeks - one mission per week.
The February 2027 cohort is our first pilot batch. You get the full programme, and you also help shape it: we'll ask for your feedback on every mission, tool and project and use it to improve the programme for future cohorts. Because it's a pilot, we'll be working closely with you throughout the four weeks.
The Applied AI Programme is RM 6,997. For the pilot batch we're offering an early-bird price of RM 3,997 (RM 3,000 off), limited to 10 slots. Enter your details on this page and you'll go straight to a secure Stripe checkout to pay and lock in your seat.
About 10 hours a week for 4 weeks - 40 hours in total, including a 2-hour weekly live meetup. Around 85% of that time is hands-on building.
You'll go hands-on with a few core tools - Claude Cowork, Grok Bot and Claude Code Desktop - and learn when to use the wider landscape: ChatGPT Work, Gemini, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Perplexity, NotebookLM, Muse, Dots, Hermes, OpenClaw, Codex, Cursor, Lovable, Replit, Zapier, Make, n8n and more.
That's exactly why we teach four capabilities - produce work, repeat work, build tools, verify results - instead of one product's buttons. Your AI Tool Map is updated monthly, and the fundamentals carry over when a new tool arrives.
Some tools need a paid plan to use their full features. We'll tell you exactly which subscriptions you need before the cohort starts, and keep it to as few as possible.
The 90-day programme trains you to become a software developer and get hired - it's 30+ hours a week and you learn to code. Applied AI is 4 weeks, around 10 hours a week, with no coding: it's for professionals, freelancers and business owners who want AI to do real work for them.
Each mission ends with a submission: your working project, evidence it works on different inputs, test results and a 5–7 minute recorded walkthrough. An instructor reviews it and you either pass or resubmit with feedback. There are no live defences.
No. It's an educational simulator using historical data and RM 10,000 of pretend money - there's no real money, brokerage or live trading involved, and it isn't financial advice. The point is to practise testing: finding wrong calculations, missing costs and other planted errors.
Four guided projects (AI Job Hunter, AI Client Finder, AI Interview Coach, AI Trading Lab), four personal missions, and one finished AI solution for your own career or business - with a test report, case study and recorded demo.
